Theory Programs
The feature elements included in the crane training school includes information about inspection, power-line safety, regulations, and site hazards involved in crane operation. Trainees would get understanding about rigging, hardware applications and load charts. Direct feedback and quizzes throughout the course would assist trainees solidify their knowledge.
The theory topics include: Introduction to crane certification process; safety fundamentals for crane operators; rigging knowledge; crane operation knowledge; crane rigging charts; communications knowledge; load chart knowledge; crane service and maintenance and crane set-up and pre-trip inspections.
Practical Programs
The crane training school comprises practical training including hands-on learning. This component teaches trainees how to identify crane terminology and components. Trainees will have the chance to perform skills required for crane signaling, rigging and operating.
Practical course topics: Identify crane components and functions; Learn crane terminology; identify wire ropes and rigging; utilize remote control; identify documents and regulations for rigging and wire rope; pre-use check on crane; perform rigging techniques; utilize radio and hand signals; and perform proper lowering and lifting of loads.
