Kelowna Scissor Lift Operator Certification - North American regulators suggest that workplaces need operators of scissor lifts, booms or aerial work platforms to get certification training. Scissor lift refers to a platform which vertically moves to enable workers to get to high levels. Scissor lifts are designed with a pantograph - linked, folding supports in an 'X' pattern. Covered in the classroom instruction are the following topics: introduction to scissor lift training; rules and guidelines, authorization and attitude; safety rules and common dangers; Occupational Health and Safety; workbook and record of training (or otherwise called ROT)

The conclusion of the in-class section is finished with a written exam.

The following areas practical hands-on training and instruction consists of: safety equipment; pre-operational check; regular maintenance; function checklist; operator's handbook and the practical session will conclude with a demonstration of proficiency.
